I recently shot State Cup and MRL soccer indoors at the fabulous Ultimate Soccer Arena in Pontiac Michigan. The benefit of indoor soccer in late October in Michigan is the wonderful climate controlled conditions - 65 degrees and no inclement weather. For photography, however, the indoor challenges of shooting in low light is still present even in a facility like Ultimate Soccer.
Don't let being indoors stop you from capturing the action. Grab your fastest telephoto lens. Shoot at the fastest aperture setting (preferably f/2.8 or faster). Crank up your camera's ISO. Watch your histogram. And fire away.
