Soccer is a good sport to shoot with two bodies if you have the appropriate lenses attached. The top photo was shot with a 300mm f/2.8 lens and 1.7x extender attached to a Nikon D700. This allowed me to really capture the action far down the field from my position.
The bottom photo was shot with a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens attached to a Nikon D300. I had time to prepare for this photo since this action was the result of a corner kick with the resulting header occurring in the box area around the goal.
